PRODUCT OVERVIEW
Series information
Denison T6CR/T6DR/T6ER-family thru-drive (tail-drive) vane pumps for multi-pump stacking.
TECHNICAL SELECTION
Specifications & configuration
| Parameter | What it tells you |
|---|---|
| Displacement | The volume displaced per shaft revolution. Use the actual displacement value and unit, not just the model's displacement code. |
| Pressure rating | The applicable limit depends on the selected configuration and operating conditions. Continuous and intermittent ratings serve different duties. |
| Rotation | The direction must match the pump specification and the stated viewing direction. Supply the original designation when replacing a pump. |
| Shaft & mounting | The shaft transmits drive torque; the flange locates and secures the pump. Matching a family name does not establish mechanical fit. |
| Ports & orientation | Connection size, connection standard and housing orientation all affect installation. Outlet positions matter on multi-section assemblies. |
| Fluid & seals | The selected fluid, viscosity, temperature and seal material must suit the pump configuration. |

Model code and installation
A through-drive inquiry needs the rear adaptor, coupling and adaptor position as well as the main pump code.

- Pump series and capacity
- Distinguish T6CR, T6DR and T6ER. Read the corresponding T6 single-pump performance data as directed by this catalog.
- Main shaft and rotation
- Retain both fields; rotation is viewed from the pump shaft end.
- Outlet position
- Keep the outlet code separately from the rear adaptor position.
- Rear adaptor and coupling
- Specify both the adaptor interface and coupling code.
- Adaptor position, design and seals
- The adaptor position is viewed from the adaptor end. Keep the design and seal suffixes.
Include every suffix when requesting a quote.
Compare interfaces before ordering
- Front connection
- Compare the main mounting and shaft drawing.
- Rear connection
- Compare the adaptor and coupling dimensions for the driven unit.
- Orientation
- Outlet and adaptor position diagrams use different viewing ends.
- Drive load
- Confirm permissible drive and through-drive loads for the complete assembly.
Use stated dimensions, not measurements taken from an image on screen. Request the current drawing or CAD file for your exact configuration.
