Typical equipment
Identify the circuit served by the pump: the machine may have separate drives for its main and auxiliary functions.
What the hydraulic system does
In a hydraulic baler, a cylinder compresses the material. Travel speed and force change through the cycle. Other packaging machines may use different drive systems.
Illustrative sequence only; the actual machine cycle and control system may differ.
Pump selection checks
Material compression and cylinder return · Fast approach, compression and return
What happens before compression?
Give the cylinder travel and target cycle time, followed by the force needed for compression.
Are multiple pump sections involved?
Send each section’s code and show how the outlets connect. Note when sections run together or unload.
What is the sustained workload?
Record cycles per hour, material being compressed and the cooling arrangement.
- Separate fast travel from the compression stage.
- Provide required force, travel time and cycle frequency.
- Identify existing pump sections and how each is connected.
Check the required operating points against the pump document, then compare the shaft, mounting, rotation and ports.
Compare the product details
Use the catalog photos to identify the series, then open its drawings and technical data. Final selection depends on the machine specification.
Send your machine requirements
Send the equipment type, operating cycle and circuit information. If a multi-section pump is installed, record the code for the complete assembly.
Include the required quantity, destination and delivery expectations. For a replacement, add the old pump’s nameplate and photographs of the installation.
